        Very difficult to get ashes out of carpet, leaving a gray hue...vacuuming doesn't work so must use scrub brush and water to get it partially out. The fabric edging burns.

          I purchased one of these hearth rugs for myself and one for my Dad. He has made the front of his fireplace less of a tripping hazard by removing other bulky rugs and pieces of carpet and remarked how pleased he is with the quality.
