Suitable for use with wood-burning fireplaces, Guardian Collection rugs are produced in four-foot and five-foot half-round shape options and constructed of fiberglass. Fiberglass provides the maximum level of protection of any hearth rug available.


This Guardian Collection Hearth Rug meets or exceeds the CPSC standard FF170 for flammability. This means that the carpet will not continue to support combustion once the igniting source has either cooled or been removed. Enjoy midwinter warmth and safety with this attractive rug.

      had one major problem with this rug, i have 3 kids age 6, 6, and 3 and they were playing on the floor and on the rug. when it was time to go to bed about a half hr later all three were complaining of being itchy the oldest boy had a sever reaction to the FIBERGLASS RUG where his legs were red and like sandpaper the youngest boy complained that his knees hurt and itch and my daughter just itched with a rash so if you have kids just beware that they shouldnt play on or near this rug. it is put up now and will only be down when we make a fire...
